Privacy policy
What Ascio Digital collects through this website, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted. Last updated 19 July 2026.
Template notice. This policy describes the default behaviour of this codebase. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and it must be updated before launch — and again whenever you add analytics or a third-party processor. See the README launch checklist.
What we collect
Only what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, optionally your company name, and your message. There is no account system, no newsletter signup, and no tracking pixel on this site as it currently ships.
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP addresses and user-agent strings, for security and abuse prevention. We use the IP address transiently to rate-limit form submissions; it is not stored alongside your enquiry.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts as delivered. If you enable an analytics provider, list it here, state what it collects, and add a consent mechanism before it loads for visitors in the UK, EU, or any other jurisdiction requiring prior consent.
Why we process it
To reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to carry out the engagement. Under UK/EU GDPR the lawful basis is legitimate interest for responding to a business enquiry you initiated, and performance of a contract once we are engaged. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after 24 months. Records connected to a paid engagement are retained for seven years, because tax and accounting law requires it. Ask us at any time and we will tell you exactly what we hold about you.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our processing it. Email hello@asciodigital.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to your national data protection authority.
